fun fact: pakistani, bangladeshi, and indian people all call ‘henna’ mehndi.

Absolutely! We always have at least one vegetarian dish per episode, but we love cooking vegan food and will try to incorporate more into our show! Thanks for the suggestion :)

    can you make vegan meals?

@CinemaAndSpice That’s a great idea! I’ll have to check to see if there are any Indian markets in my area. If not, I haven’t been to Little India in about two years so another visit would be fun and productive.

Wow, I’m so glad you made it! And I’m glad that it was still delicious without some of the spices. In the future, it’s really fun to visit an indian market or grocery store and the spices there are CRAZY cheap. And if you’re not interested in buying cardamom pods, you can just buy ground cardamom. Thank you so much for sharing!!! :)

This recipe was delicious! I made it for the hubster a few weeks ago. The flavor is so different from what we’re used to when it comes to chicken, but it was a really nice change. I have to admit, though, I didn’t include the cardamom pods or the garam masala. I didn’t have either one, so I did without. Still sooo tasty!
