Bryan’s Cooking Curry Ep1

Ok so thought it would be fun to film Bryan cooking his world famous Indian Curry dish. Its really easy to make in less then 30 minutes and tastes really good. Also make sure to check out the It Gets Better Commercial that we as a family got to be apart of: www.youtube.com

One interesting fact is that in India we don’t know what is Indian Curry !! Lol. I mean It is known by different names than on Internet Cult; like Kadhi, Sabji, Bhaaji, Nimona, Masala Sabji etc.
    (I am from India.)

I just wanted to add that for people not in the US Garbanzo beans are known as chick peas in other parts of the world :) (it took me a while to work out what you were saying because it isn’t something I have ever heard before because they are called chick peas in Australia) I was actually going to suggest that you could make it a chick pea curry to make it vegetarian.

God – you have BIG onions in the USA – see 2.22 this one onion filled a whole bowl! I love the 2 tablespoons of curry instead of 2 teaspoons! That’s funny! I tried making it though & it was yummy.

I’m Indian, and we dont really call our dishes “Curry” chicken or “curry” vegetables in india, because instead of dish, we say curry, because we put curry in pretty much everything, LOL XD

Hey there! Nice video! Nice dish! Nice cooking lesson :D ! When will we have another one?
I guess you could try this – which I do in all my meat curries: before cooking your onion, at the very beginning, when your oil (or ghee – clarified butter yum!) is hot, just have your chicken bits fry, get golden, for one minute not more, and take it off the frying pan (on some plate or whatever, no need to keep it warm) to proceed just as you did. It should make a “fond de sauce” even more tasty.
